The Beginning

Life is an intricate mix of elements that cannot be defined simply through words alone. It is a combination of lessons, experiences and relationships that can shape our existence and turn it into a reality. In this overly complicated world of ours, it is easy to be consumed by all the media, the extreme forms of communication and all the overly abundant expressions of ideas. To some, this can be seen as a curse while for others it can be considered a blessing. I chose the latter and I wish to share all my experiences in this world.

From my perspective, I am beginning to understand that although we are lucky to feel and experience life through all of our five senses, this trait does not separate us from being labeled as “animals”. What separates us from our lesser cousins, the primates, is the ability to feel, to connect, to speak, and to understand another human’s emotions. These are the aspects that share our humanity. Of course, certain creatures can be smart enough to have emotions and keep certain relationships, but not to the extent we humans do. This intricacy comes in many shades of gray, never truly white or black, these forms of humanity adding chapters of the epic of the world.

Humans are a colorful palette that can paint the meaning of our universe. Without the color of the hearts of people, there would be no existence as a whole.

All these colorful hues of humanity shape our history, creating intricate and yet expanding lessons and experiences that must be explored in order to grasp the world. From the most Choleric of reds to the most melancholic of blues, these must be studied in detail to understand why or how we live. Yet, life cannot simply be defined by history and lectures. Life can be seen as more nuanced, when we add into consideration the ideals of religion, philosophy and spiritism.

Nevertheless, what I find fascinating about life is the idea that some may disagree with me. Depending on the background, some characters may see my actions as meaningless, perhaps even a bit histrionic. I have even met people who simply wish to exist rather than to live. Although I personally do not agree with statements like these, no man or woman should ever be disproved of their ideals and philosophies. Rather than to shame others for their beliefs, let us rejoice in the opportunity to have met such individuals and study their ideals. Let’s embrace the colors of humanity. By indulging in the different ideologies you can pick

certain hues from an individual, allowing your soul to be shaped into a vivid mosaic of ideals.

It is in this same reasoning that I wish to share my experiences to the world. I wish to allow others to explore my way of thinking, to share my lessons and lectures and to indulge in the many aspects that shape our reality.

Although I do own more “personal” journals, I still wish to effectively communicate with others my ideals and philosophies. My gift to the world is my ability to communicate and I do not wish to leave some of my thoughts to decompose away in old books. I wish this to be a biography on the making. A walking biography, if you will, my own thoughts written in stone. For the universe to see.

However, I do wish to take the idea of “a walking biography” quite literally. By definition a Biography is often a story of someone’s life often written by a different individual. While an autobiography is a story of an individual written by the same individual. To me this blog will always be an autobiography, however, to the audience it might be seen as a biography. However, I am not talking about the material itself but the ideas I wish to present to the world. You see, I believe that everyone is responsible for their own actions. Our mind, regardless of whatever state it may be, can still decide our reactions and responses to the way our world behaves. This idea can apply to all sorts of mundane activities, such as brushing our teeth everyday and/or choosing which outfit to go to work in. As these tiny decisions pile up, it creates us, our character. This character in turn, goes back into the real world and begins to link up with other characters. As we connect with other individuals, we leave a bit of our story with them- We become what you might call a “walking biography” to them. I like to keep the title of “A Walking Biography” as a reminder to me and the audience. That we are responsible for our thoughts, actions and aesthetics. That every action you commit in this world will be judged by someone and be stored in a tiny personal biography of us in someone else’s mind.

If you wish your biography to portray you as a good person then by all means, be that good person.

This reminder even goes to me.

Plus, it rolls off the tongue better than “The Walking Autobiography”
